Harike Wetland is situated at latitude of 31.17° N and longitude of 75.20° E. This wetland is also significant because it is situated on the confluence of two rivers of the Indus River system, i.e. Sutlej and Beas. WebIn 2024, Twenty Six new sites were added that includes Karikili Bird Sanctuary, Pallikaranai Marsh Reserve Forest & Pichavaram Mangrove from Tamil Nadu, Pala wetland from Mizoram, Sakhya Sagar from Madhya Pradesh.
