Web26 okt. 2024 · The cam is a melling spc-8 cam (041) and I have Rhoades lifters. The heads are 6x-4 heads with 1.5 roller tip rockers. I'm fairly certain the deck height is stock and I don't believe the heads have been milled. If I pull the heads I will check these things. But assuming a .016 piston to deck height and 94cc for the heads with a .039 gasket. Web3 aug. 2013 · With all due respect 6X-4 heads will work just fine on a 455 if the cam matches the required compression ratio. If you want to run a short duration "RV" cam, 6X-4 aren't for you. But if you want to make some power and cam the engine for making that power, the compression ratio of the 6X-4 heads and FT pistons are a killer combo. chasing stone
